This association aims to provide a platform to promote and nurture the culture of Bangladesh on the campus of the University of Maryland, College Park. This association is a non-religious, non-political association, functioning as a cultural organization.

The 21st of February is known internationally as International Mother Language Day, chosen because of the tragic — yet catalyzing— events that transpired on that day in 1952, in Bangladesh. We celebrated International Mother Language Day, a day to acknowledge the importance of linguistic and cultural diversity.
Nobanno celebrated the end of the Spring semester by saying goodbyes to our dear recent graduates with summer BBQ. As some of them moved to new places, it was the perfect opportunity to show our love and appreciation for them.
"Nobanno" felt excited to receive new incoming students who joined Fall 2023 semesters with warm welcome. This event also promised an excellent opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces from the past. Lastly, we felt honored and grateful to have Mayor Dr. Fazlul Kabir, The City of College Park, MD in our event
We were delighted to organize the thrilling summer indoor games for two days of exciting competition and camaraderie. Games included Chess (15 + 15 minutes), FIFA Co-op, Poker (tournament format), 29, Ludu (doubles), Sequence (doubles), Call Bridge. To all the deserving winners, congratulations!
